What are UUID, Major, and Minor?

Each beacon terminal is identified by setting the UUID, Major, and Minor uniquely. This  information will be used to set up objects later in the video.

UUID

Since there is a limit to the number of UUIDs that the OS can detect, we recommend that you set the same UUID to all beacon devices used with ovice.

Example: Set the same UUID to all beacon devices installed in one building

Major

Identifies the beacon device in more detail within the region specified by the UUID. Set it as a decimal number between 0 and 65535.

Example: Setting different Majors for each floor in a building

Minor

Identifies the beacon device in more detail within the region specified by Major. Set it as a decimal number between 0 and 65535.

Example: Set different Minors for each point on one floor
