Create a Bulletin Static Object

Bulletin Static Objects display in the space as freestanding formatted text boards. They're ideal for posting announcements, event schedules, linked resources, or simply used to label an area.

Access your Static Objects Manager

Access the Static Object Manager in the Space Settings Menu:  Space Settings > Setting > Static Object in the Main (Hamburger) Menu.

Set User Authority

Choose the User Authority for this Bulletin. All Static Objects added may have a unique user Authority: choose the user role that may interact with each Static Object from the Select Authority drop-down menu. For Bulletins, a user given Authority will have the option to not only see the content, but also to edit the content right from the workspace. Choose Admin as the authority, and all users in the space may view the Bulletin content, but only Admins can edit the content.

Set Size Dimensions

Size the Bulletin using the Width and Height value fields. The default Bulletin size is 100 X 100. Adjust the numbers to fit the contents of the Bulletin and/or to accommodate the placement in the space.

Note: Bulletin Objects that are too small to display the content in its entirety, will include scroll bars for users to access the content.

Set the Location

Finalize the placement of the Bulletin. By default, it will be placed in the workspace near the current location of your Avatar. In the Preview window, you may drag and drop the Bulletin where desired.

Alternately, you may set the location based on a specific location in the space's grid. This is helpful if aligning with other Static Objects in the space. Adjust the numbers in the X and Y axis fields to reposition the Bulletin where needed.
