in oVice, Interactive Objects are the customizable pieces that make your space work for you and your team - from facilitating better conversations, to integrating your online tools & processes into the workspace, to making important resources available for quick access, and so much more.
The Static Objects
Static Objects are the Interactive Objects that have been placed in the space by a Space Admin. They are referred to as Static because they remain in the space constantly, and do not disappear when users log in and out. They're 'always on.'
While your Admins may or may not have all of these Objects enabled in your space (or have role permission restrictions enabled), these are the Static Objects you might encounter:
- Bulletin (text board)
- Image (may be linked & clickable)
- YouTube (video share)
- Meeting Camera (in-app live video chat)
- LiveStream (stream sharing)
- Embedded Content (linked resources)
The Dynamic Objects
Dynamic Objects are the temporary Interactive Objects that users may create on their own in the workspace to help facilitate their needs. They are referred to as Dynamic because they will disappear from the space once they are closed by the creator of the object.
While your Admins may or may not have all of these Objects enabled in your space (or have role permission restrictions enabled), these are the Dynamic Objects you might create as needed:
- Screenshare (share your screen)
- Meeting Camera (in-app live video chat)
- Audio Stabilizer (voice conversations for groups)
- Megaphone (broadcasting announcements)
- YouTube (video share)
- Editor (text)
- Embedded Content (linked resources)
- Camera (share your camera only)
- Zoom (start a Zoom app call)
Users create Dynamic Objects by clicking the + button on the Bottom Horizontal Menu Bar. Learn more about creating Dynamic Objects HERE.
