What's ovice Go?

Basic Features

ovice Go provides the core features of ovice, such as moving around the workspace, chatting, and interacting with rooms and objects, just like the desktop application.

Main Differences from the Desktop Application

There are several differences between ovice Go and the desktop application:

  • Mobile Push Notification Settings
You can receive push notifications for calls, mentions in chats, and shoulder taps.
  • Camera Functionality
The mobile version supports both the front and rear cameras, and you can switch between them during a call.
Note: Live avatar, Camera effects, virtual backgrounds, and virtual avatars are not available on iOS.
  • Admin Interface
You will not have access to any admin setting pages, including organization settings, space settings, and billing page.
  • Screen Sharing
You cannot share your own screen in ovice Go. However, you can view screen shares from others.
  • Audio Features
    • General Audio
Microphone and speaker settings follow the system settings of your device. You cannot change input or output devices in ovice’s audio settings.
    • Microphone Features
The standard noise cancellation feature is available. Advanced features such as "high-performance noise cancellation," "Turn on Background Voice Cancellation," "Auto Volume Adjustment," and the microphone test function are not available.
    • Speaker Features
The feature to "use a different speaker while muted" is not available.
  • Transcrie Objects
You can view the contents of the objects, but your voice is not recognized by the object.

Other Notes

  • There is little difference in functionality between smartphones and tablets. However, larger tablets apply a responsive design similar to the desktop version, displaying more menus.
  • When tapping on external links within a space, they will open in the device's default browser app.
  • You cannot access multiple spaces simultaneously.
