Space Maker

In addition to changing your space's Background Image, you can arrange assets (furniture parts) such as desks and chairs.

 

Permissions

Users with the following permissions can perform these operations:

Space Administrator permissions
Groups with "Layout Editor" included in their Permission Unit

 

How to Use

1. Click the three-line menu icon in the space header and select the "Space" tab.
*If you are not an Organization Owner, you do not need to select a tab.

2. Go to Customize Space and click the "Layout Editor" button.

Resume Previous Work: If there is unsaved data from a previous session, a confirmation screen asking "Would you like to resume your previous work?" will appear. Select "Yes" to continue where you left off.

3. Select a background layout.

When creating a layout, you can choose from the following five options:

  • Load Current Layout: Continue editing using your current background and assets.

  • Load Saved Layout: Choose from up to 6 previously customized and saved layouts.

  • Upload Layout Image: Upload your own image to use as a background.

  • Preset Layout: Select from our pre-designed templates.

  • Temporarily Saved Layout: Resume from the last automatically saved data.

4. Place and edit assets

Click on the parts to place them anywhere within the layout.

When you select a placed asset, a toolbar for asset customization will appear.

Change Color: Select from available color variations.

Layering: Change the stacking order (bring to front/send to back).

Flip/Duplicate: Change the orientation or duplicate parts.

Delete: Remove the selected asset.

  • You can also select multiple assets to move, edit, or delete them simultaneously.

  • Switching to a preset layout will hide currently configured meeting rooms. Some preset layouts include a set of rooms; these rooms will be automatically installed upon switching. Any hidden rooms are saved in the Layout Editor and can be placed again.
  • You can save up to 6 layouts, which can be shared with other administrators. When uploading, if 6 layouts are already saved, you will be prompted to overwrite an existing one.
