Setting up Intercom (Access Request)

In your private space, you can set up the intercom feature that allows temporary access for users who are not added to the whitelist. See below for more details on this feature.

Setting Method

1. Click the three dots in the space header and select the "Space" tab.
*If you are not an organization owner, there is no need to select a tab.

2. Space settings → Space Access Settings→ "Other settings" tab → Turn on "Allow the use of intercom"

3. Select audio from the drop-down menu.

4. Adjust the volume

5. Select "Gatekeepers" from the pull-down menu

This authority allows the user to answer the intercom and decide whether to allow or deny  access  . Users without the authority will not know that the intercom has been pressed.

Admins only Admins
Members and above Admins and Members
All users Admins, Members, and Visitors

 

Tips

  • This can only be set for private spaces. If you can't turn it on, make sure it's not set to public.

  • Click "Play the selected audio" to check the sound and volume of the selected intercom.
