Setting up Space Objects

Permissions available for operation

This can be operated by any of the following users:

 

What is a Space Object?

In ovice, the term object refers to an item in the space that performs a specific function that a user may connect to or otherwise engage with. Space Objects specifically are fixed objects placed in the space by the admins.

 

1. Click the three dots in the space header and select the "Space" tab.
*If you are not an organization owner, there is no need to select a tab.

2. Customize space → Click the "Add/Edit Static Tools" button

3. Click or drag the object you want to place onto the customization screen.

4. Enter the Static Tool Name

5. Drag the object on the customization screen to adjust its position.

Alternatively, you can specify coordinate information using X and Y, or use the arrow keys.

6. Select Object Permissions ( no settings required for Real Time Locators, Reservations, and Images )

Select the user permissions that will allow you to connect to and edit objects in the Space.

Admin Only administrators can connect and edit in the space
Member Administrators and members can connect and edit in the space.
Visitor Administrators, members, and visitors can connect and edit in the space


7. [Optional] Enter "Description" (no setting required for each socket )

This content can be viewed in the space. If you do not add a description, a default description will be displayed for each object.

9. Click "Save"

 

Tips

  • For information on displaying grids and space objects, see
    Space Customization Common Settings

  • To place a YouTube object, select "Embedded Content." in step 2 above, and select "YouTube" as the service to embed.
