You can set notifications and other settings in Space Settings in Personal Settings.
Space Notifications
It is set to on by default.
Allow space notifications
| On | Receive notifications from ovice. |
| Off | Stops all notifications from ovice (OS notifications, sounds, pop-up notifications on spaces, unread badges). Even if it is turned off, all notifications will accumulate in the Notification Center (The unread icon will not be displayed in the notification center.) |
Notification Options
You can customize notifications and sounds for each action separately.

Notification
Choose whether to enable OS notifications, in-space popup notifications, and unread badges. Even if specific notifications are turned off, they will still accumulate in the Notification Center. -
Sound
Choose whether to enable sound alerts (ring tones) for each notification.
*The notification volume is based on Audio Settings > Speaker Output.
The actions that can be notified are:

Notifies you when a bookmarked user accesses the space. |

Mentions in the chatbox |
Notifies you upon receiving a mention in chat. For long messages, click "View More" to see the full text. |

Calls missed |
Notifies you of missed calls you didn’t answer. |

Shoulder Taps |
Notifies you when you are shoulder-tapped. |

Await Free Status |
Notified the user who you was waiting for is now available. |

Chat in the meeting room |
Notifies you when a public chat message is received in a meeting room. |
| Someone's approching | This notifies you when either you or the other person has their microphone on and is within audio range of each other. |

Others |
Notifies you of other updates triggered by the Public API. |
Other Settings
Always show menubar in workspace
| on |
The menubar is always visible. |
| off | If no mouse action is confirmed over the space, the bar will hide after a few seconds, and will reappear when you mouse over the space. |
Always show header in workspace
| on |
The header is always visible. |
| off |
The header will be hidden until you move the mouse to the top of the space screen. It will remain visible while you are using side menus such as the main menu or notification center, but will be hidden as soon as you close these menus. |
