Set up the microphone and speaker for voice conversations on ovice. After setting or changing each item, please close the screen by clicking the close button in the upper right.
Advance Preparation

Please allow the use of microphone devices in your computer's OS settings. Check OS settings |
| For web browsers |
A web browser popup will appear asking for permission to use your microphone. Select "Allow". If you selected "Block" or closed the popup, see below. Check your web browser's site permissions. |
Settings
| Basic Configuration |

Click the "Test" button to check that the sound effects are coming from the speakers you have set up. |

1. Click the "Test" button and speak into the microphone to have it recognize your voice (up to 5 seconds) 2. Click the "Stop" button Make sure that the audio you input is output from the speaker. |

Auto Volume Adjustment |
1. Open "Audio" in Personal Settings 2. Check "Auto Volume Adjustment" This feature automatically adjusts your OS microphone volume to an optimal level for better audibility. When enabled, the microphone volume level may be adjusted to below 100%. Default setting is enabled. |
| Mute when you leave from the connected object |
Switch your microphone off automatically when leaving the connected objects. The defaut setting is off. |

Noise Cancellation |
1. Open "Audio" in Personal Settings 2. Check "Noise Cancellation" *This function uses Krisp (external service). *The default is off. If you use multiple spaces, you need to set it in each space. *Even if you set it to on, noise canceling will be automatically disabled while the computer device is under heavy load. In that case, it will be automatically re-enabled when the load on the device is reduced. |

Background Voice Cancellation |
1. Open "Audio" in Personal Settings 2. Check "Noise Cancelling" 3. Check "Background Voice Cancellation" *This function uses Krisp (external service). *If "Noise Cancellation" is off, it cannot be enabled. *This function works properly when using a headset. |

High-performance noise cancellation |
It offers higher performance compared to standard noise canceling, but may impose a higher device load depending on the environment. Adjust settings as needed, such as turning it off when necessary. |

It is possible to switch the output device when the microphone is on or off. 1. Open "Audio" in Personal Settings 2. Check "Use another speaker when you're muted" 3. Set output directory |
| Volume Control |
Adjust the volume of all sounds in ovice (user voice, notifications, reactions, etc.). 1. Open "Audio" in Personal Settings 2. Adjust the volume with the volume control knob. Setting the volume to "0" will switch to a muted status, which means you will not be able to hear any voices, reactions, notifications, or any other sounds in the space you are currently accessing. |
