Security Settings

You can set up two-factor authentication (2FA) in the "Security Settings" section of your Profile Settings.

Once 2FA is enabled, you will be required to enter a 6-digit code displayed on your authenticator app when logging into the service.

Initial Setup for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

1. Install your preferred authenticator app on your mobile device.

Example: Google Authenticator or similar.

2. Click "Edit" for Two-Factor Authentication.

3. Scan the QR code displayed on your screen using the authenticator app on your mobile device.

4. Confirm that ovice has been added to your authenticator app, then enter the 6-digit code displayed in the app into the ovice screen.

5. Click "Save".

After setup, the authentication screen will appear every time you log in and access a space within an organization that requires 2FA. Enter the 6-digit code displayed on your authenticator app to access the space.

 

Disabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

To disable 2FA, click "Edit", and then click "Disable".

Note: If you access an organization space where 2FA is required, it will automatically become active again. This means you will need to complete the initial 2FA setup, and any previous authentication codes will no longer be valid.

 

Resetting Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

To set up 2FA again, click "Reset".

1. Click the URL in the email you receive.

Subject: [ovice] Two-Factor Authentication Reset
Sender: no-reply@laravel.ovice.di-agile.io
URL Expiration: 48 hours

2. Click "Reset" on the linked page.

※At this point, the authentication code from your previous setup will become invalid.

3. Log in to ovice.

4. Perform the initial setup again.
