You can spin up a temporary Quick Object anywhere in the open workspace, whenever you need to share or collaborate with your teammates. Quick Objects disappear when you finish using them, but you can activate them whenever needed.
The types of quick objects available depend on administrator settings . To use, once you have created the Object, any other participant will need to be 1) within proximity range of the object and 2) connected to the object.
Launching Quick Objects
The Quick Objects menu is accessed by clicking the + button in the bottom horizontal menu bar
or by right-clicking on the workspace near your avatar.
Creating Dynamic Objects
The following are all possible Dynamic Object options available. Please note, your Space Admin may or may not have all of these options enabled in your space, or may have set user role permission restrictions to some of the Objects.*
- Screenshare (share your screen)
- Meeting Camera (in-app live video chat)
- Audio Stabilizer (voice conversations for groups)
- Megaphone (broadcasting announcements)
- YouTube (video share)
- Editor (text)
- Embedded Content (linked resources)
- Camera (share your camera only)
- Zoom (start a Zoom app call)
*Admins: these menu options are managed in Space Settings > Plugins, and the user role permissions are managed in Space Settings > Space > Object Authority Management.
