Displayed "You are not authorized to access the workspace" (For Admins)

If the user you want to allow access to see the message "You do not have permission to access the space," please check the following items.

Verification Procedure

1. Share "You don't have permission to access the space (for general users) " with the target user

It is possible that the user has an incorrect login method. Please ask them to try troubleshooting for themselves.

2. Check your blacklist

Please make sure that the email address and IP address used by the target user are not added to the blacklist.

3. Check the permissions

Check the access permission settings.

Not utilizing all permission settings Continue to the next step.
If you are using email address or email domain authentication

Make sure you add the user's email address to the list.

*If the target user has already been added to the user list, add them to Space Access Setting list with the same permissions as the user list.
For example, if they are "members" in the user list, add them to Space Access Setting list with "Allow access as members". The target users will not be able to access the account even if they are given "Allow access as a visitor".

If you are using SSO (SAML2.0) Please make sure you have added the target user to the IdP's app.
If you are using an IP address Make sure you add the IP address of the user to the list.

4. Check users waiting for approval

If a user applies to become a member, please confirm their user information and approve them. If you are not using the Space Access Setting, approving the application will allow them to access the space with member privileges.

Priority of access permission decisions

When each user accesses a space, the access permission is checked in the following order:

Blacklist > Space Access Setting > User list.

Therefore, even if a user is displayed as a "member" or "visitor" in the user list, they may not be able to access the space due to the Blacklist or Space Access settings. If there are no entries in the blacklist or Space Access Setting for a private space, each user will be able to access it with the roles (member or visitor) displayed in the user list.
