Operation feels slow/Screen freezes/Audio is delayed

If you experience issues such as slow operation of ovice, video freezing, interruptions or skips, or audio delays, please refer to the article below.

Possible main causes

Other possible causes and solutions

  • Increase in the number of users
As the number of users in a space increases, the number of avatars also increases, and the amount of drawing processing and communication also increases. Therefore, depending on the usage environment, it may affect the operation of ovice.
Similarly, as the number of users participating in a meeting increases, the amount of audio and video data sent and received increases, which may affect performance, such as video and audio delays.
  • Using the camera
When the camera is turned on, video data is sent and received and rendering processing occurs, which may cause instability depending on the usage environment. If you experience problems such as delays, please try minimizing the use of  camera effectslive avatars , or the camera itself to see if that improves the problem.
  • Number of Cameras in the Meeting Room
The meeting room can display up to 49 cameras, depending on your computer monitor size. However, displaying a larger number of cameras may increase the data load, which could cause instability depending on your usage environment. Try reducing the gallery display count or turning off the gallery view to see if it resolves any issues.
  • Turn off the noise canceling feature (Desktop app / ovice Go)
Depending on the performance of your computer device, using  noise canceling may place a large load on the device. Therefore, turning it off may improve the problem.
  • Check Network Environment
To investigate, try changing your network setup by switching to smartphone tethering or temporarily disabling your VPN if possible.
If ovice works properly in these conditions, the issue may likely be related to your network bandwidth or speed.

  • Device Environment and Usage
If your computer is handling a high number of simultaneously running applications or performing resource-intensive tasks, it may experience increased load, which can affect ovice’s performance. To check this, open the Task Manager (on Windows) or Activity Monitor (on Mac) and monitor your CPU usage. If your device is under heavy load, try closing unnecessary applications or browser tabs to see if this improves performance.

  • Using the zoom display function
By usingthe zoom function to expand the space, the amount of resources that need to be loaded at one time on the screen is reduced, which may result in relatively little latency.
  • Using the service in a thin client/VDI environment:
If your usage environment applies, please also check.

If not resolved

Please contact our technical support with the following information:
