November 22, 2024: Release of Updates to Meeting Room Gallery Features and More

Meeting room gallery feature improvements

  • You can now switch the gallery display position between the top and right

  • You can now adjust the gallery width. With this update, you can now display more camera footage on one screen.

  • By changing the name holder displayed in the gallery from a maximum of two lines to one line, the camera image is less likely to be obscured by the name holder.

  • The gallery now prioritizes meeting participants based on their usage of tools like camera, microphone, and screenshare objects and whether they're the host.

 

Adding and changing status specifications

  • A new status, “Available (Muted)”, has been added in the audio settings to indicate when the volume is set to “0.” In this status, a semi-transparent avatar with a green frame is displayed, visually indicating that all sounds within ovice—including space audio, reactions, and notifications—are muted.

  • When you have a semi-transparent status such as Busy, Away (for desktop app), you will not hear any sounds including voices, reactions, notifications, YouTube objects, etc. in the space, except for chat and shoulder-tap notification sounds.
  • Avatars now appear more transparent when in audio-out-of-reach-status.

Changes to object specifications and UI improvements

  • When you connect to an object, the range of your own avatar will now switch to the range of the connected object. (If you are not connected to an object within the range of the object, your own avatar range will continue to apply.)
    Range of audio and video
    * Applies to all objects regardless of object mode (space object, quick object) or object type (meeting, YouTube, etc.).

  • When connecting to an object, if you have your own microphone turned on, the range indicator will now switch from light grey to light blue.

Improved the Notification Center

  • A notification sound will now play when a public chat is received in a meeting room.
  • Added "Other" to the filtering options.
  • The "OK" button to apply filtering has been abolished, and filtering is now applied immediately when you select the checkbox.

Improved UI for user invitation screen

The button to send invitation emails to the user is now inactive until all email addresses have been entered.

  • The file names of the CSV files downloaded when exporting the following data have been changed to more appropriate names.
    • User Log
    • Space Access Settings
    • Blocklist
  • If you reload the screen while CSV data is being loaded in the Space Access Settings or Block Lists page, a confirmation screen will now be displayed.
  • The name of the custom object setting item "Get profile information" has been changed to "Get email address" because the information actually retrieved is the user's email address.

 

Improved header display

When the "Always show header in workspace" menu is set to off, the header will no longer be hidden while its menu is displayed.

Changes to organization settings

The maximum number of characters that can be set for an organization's group name and group chat handles have been changed to 60.

Payment screen UI improvement

You can now check the addressee information that will be printed on invoices and receipts on the purchase confirmation screen for each plan.
