Await

If the user you want to talk to is in a meeting, away or some status unavailable, setting "Await" allows you to receive a notification when they become available. This helps you start a conversation at the right time.

How to Use

1. Set "Await" Using One of the Following Methods:

Click the avatar and select "Await."

User List

Click the three-dot menu next to the target user and select "Await."

Profile

Open the target user's profile and click "Await."

When the user is available, you will receive the notification.

Canceling "Await"

By refreshing the ovice page or leaving the workspace before the user becomes available, all your active "Await" settings will be canceled.

 

Tips

  • This feature notifies you when a user becomes available but does not indicate your intention to talk or notify the user that they have been set to "Await."
  • A user is considered "available" when all of the following conditions are met
    • They are online.
    • They are not connected to an object or in a meeting room.
    • Their status is "Available".
    • Their microphone is off.
    • There is no nearby user with a microphone on.
  • Once "Wait" is set, the button remains disabled until the user becomes available.
